The Great American Eclipse Puretape by Clan Supreme is a visionary hip-hop project released during the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse. Centered on themes of transformation, faith, and the rise of new Black royalty, the album blends politics, spirituality, science, and Afro-futurism into a powerful cultural statement.
The project pioneered a unique Puretape methodology, where the music was sold exclusively through eclipse glasses embedded with a QR code granting album access—an ingenious approach that sold out and generated major excitement. After all physical units were claimed, Clan Supreme chose to preserve the project’s rarity, removing it from all distribution platforms. A private showcase on April 8th, 2024 premiered the work and officially launched the Eclipse series.
Today, The Great American Eclipse Puretape stands as a rare, avant-garde milestone in Clan Supreme’s ascension and in the evolving landscape of hip hop.

Blood Moon Prophecy EP is the second chapter in the Eclipse series, a powerful collaboration between Clan Supreme and Montreal producer Cotola.
Montreal, QC — (2025) — Multigenerational hip-hop collective Clan Supreme has officially released their new EP, Blood Moon Prophecy, produced entirely by Montréal producer Cotola. The project encapsulates the group’s cross-border identity, merging the lyrical depth of California, the soul of Texas, and the experimental energy of Montreal into a cohesive, forward-thinking sonic experience.
The EP arrives after the strong performance of their latest single “Stars Deep,” which has earned placements on Spotify Editorial playlists Jazz Rap and Northern Bars, alongside rising rotation on multiple Spotify Radio playlists. This momentum has expanded the group’s reach across Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Africa.
Blood Moon Prophecy reflects Clan Supreme’s artistic philosophy: unity across generations, diasporic storytelling, and the preservation of hip-hop’s core values. The EP offers cinematic production, intentional lyricism, and a commitment to authentic Black musical expression.
